Winter II Classes For Adults

This circus class focuses entirely on aerial apparatus. Silks, Spanish web, trapeze, lyra and straps are among the featured skills. Students will learn to create their own aerial routines with musicality and flow. Taught by Sylvia Hernandez-DiStasi, Mandi Martens and Jill Heyser. Students gain an introduction to the Circus Arts, developing a basic skill set while increasing their strength and flexibility. Silks, lyra, unicycling, juggling, stilt-walking, tightrope, trapeze, and Spanish web are among the skills offered. While no acrobatic experience is necessary to enroll in the Level I (Beginning) classes, it is recommended that participants be in good physical health.
